This meta superhero comic is something artist Samir Simão and I crafted and coddled over a couple years, then subsequently spent a couple more trying to pitch. No bites, but hey, now you get to read this romp gratis. Colors by the excellent Emmanuel Ordaz and the lettering by top-notch Taylor Esposito.

When I saw Mr. Davis Goetten’s glorious pencils on a comics job message board I immediately emailed him to collab…without a script in hand! This short comic was published in Twisted Pulp, which, no bullshit, is a great anthology of reimaginings and thoughtful spins on tropes of yesteryear. The sensational colors are by the maverick Macarena Cortés and the letters are expertly executed by tubular Toben Racicot
